Small Business Chat : new website

The main reason I wanted to create a website was to have something that was mine. But having your own website isn’t easy! I emailed my past customers and it’s really clear to see that when people buy from ETSY they are just buying because they liked something. I think people are missing the fact that every ETSY shop is an individual person. I thought it I just let my past customers know about my new website that they would all come running to my new site and that definitely didn’t  happen!  It made me realize that people that shop on ETSY are going to stay on ETSY they probably won’t come to my new site! Which helped me to realize they shouldn’t be the ones I focus on!! I just thought this might be helpful information if you are considering opening a new website after being on ETSY!!
